Questions

How do I remove the background from my signature?

Sign on plain white paper with a dark pen, photograph it flat in good light, and choose the photo above. The tool makes the paper transparent or pure white and crops close around the ink.

Can I make the signature file smaller than 20 kB?

Yes. Enter the limit in kB and download the white JPEG. Many Indian application forms ask for a small JPEG signature: the OCI portal, for example, accepts JPEG up to 200 KB. Check the exact limit on your form.

PNG or JPEG?

A transparent PNG sits cleanly on documents and slides. Upload forms usually want a JPEG on a white background, often under a size limit.
