Check your passport or visa photo file
Checking against: 51×51 mm, 600×600 px, JPEG, up to Printed photo; online upload rules differ. Official source
This checks the file only: format, shape, pixels and size. It does not judge head position, lighting, glasses or how recent the photo is, and passing it is not a government decision. 1 kB = 1,000 bytes.
How to use the result
A Pass means the measured value matches the requirement we have recorded. Check means the file may still work, but compare it with the official instructions. Needs attention means the file is likely to be rejected by an upload form or print service as it is.
For the photo itself, read the do and don't list on your country page: background, head size, glasses and expression rules differ by country.
Is this passport photo checker free?
Yes. The file check is free and needs no account. It runs in your browser, so the photo is not uploaded. Preparing a new photo in the studio is a separate paid download.
What does the checker test?
It reads the file you choose and compares its format, width-to-height shape, pixel size and file size with the recorded requirements for the country and document you select.
Can it tell me whether my photo will be accepted?
No. It cannot judge head position, lighting, shadows, glasses or how recent the photo is, and only the receiving authority decides acceptance. Use it to catch file problems before you submit.
My photo is larger than the preset. Is that a problem?
Not always. Some upload portals accept larger images; others need an exact size. The checker flags it so you can compare with the official instructions linked for your document.
