Questions
What size should a headshot be?
For a CV, a 4:5 portrait such as 1200 × 1500 pixels. For LinkedIn and most job sites, a square photo of at least 400 × 400 pixels. This tool gives you both from one photo.
Should I put a photo on my resume?
It depends on where you apply. In the US and UK most employers advise leaving the photo off a resume. In Germany, much of Europe, the Middle East and Asia a professional photo is common. LinkedIn profiles everywhere benefit from one.
Is this an AI-generated headshot?
No. It is your own photo: the background is replaced with a studio backdrop, the framing is set, and tone and skin are lightly corrected. Your face is never reshaped or invented.
What photo should I start with?
A sharp, front-facing photo of just you in daylight, from the chest up, with a neutral or light smile. Someone else taking it at eye level works best.
